Our Story

In 2006 a group of parents and carer volunteers formed the Riverside Parents and Carers Association (RPCA) to arrange regular soft play sessions in a large sports hall at the Salmon Youth Centre in Bermondsey, London for children up to the age of five years old.

Please join us and receive free emails about events, offers and activities for parents, carers, and children in this area including family fun, mixing, laughing, games, sport, socials, and parties. Our objectives are to represent the interests of parents and carers within the designated area to the local authority and other bodies ensuring the needs of families and children are taken into consideration at all times. We aim to facilitate the social networking of parents and carers in the area through the provision of children’s facilities and classes, the organization of socials and parties, email correspondence, and the use of a forum. Together we can continue improving facilities for local children, and campaign and raise funds for the increase of such amenities. Riverside Parents are an inclusive association for families of all different backgrounds encouraging and facilitating a vital community bond.
